How do you motivate your employees? What style do you use? Are you a drill sergeant? Are you a motivational speaker? Are you a respected leader? Your personal management style is impacting how you present new ideas, projects and change. When creating or improving your company's safety culture it is critical to understand your personal style and to know your employees; understand what drives your workforce. I am back in the grind after spending three days in Indianapolis Indiana for the OSHA 502 Construction refresher training. I really enjoyed this training. I met several awesome safety professionals. Networking is very beneficial. Live with safety in action. Good morning. I just wanted to take the time this morning to remind everyone as mother nature warms up our environment animals are going to be more I had a big deer run in front of my car this morning. I am thankful he had time and made it across the highway safely. Stay safe everyone. Thank God that spring s finally here. I really enjoyed meeting the class participants today. We had a lot of good dialogue today. I am looking forward to class tomorrow. I am sure experiences will be shared so all can learn. I think this is what I like best about training. Stay safe! My husband and I watched this unsafe load traveled on Market Street in Lima, Ohio today. People never cease to amaze me. Remember to wear extra layers if you must be outside in these freezing temperatures. Fingers and toes can freeze quickly suffering frost bite. Limit your time outside. Minus 7 degrees this morning in Celina. Brrrr My husband and I braved the cold this afternoon to take a trip to Kroger. The main roads were snow-covered in some areas but generally in good condition. Defensive driving is always best in any type of weather. I like to allow extra time for travel. It helps me stay relaxed behind the wheel. What do you do to keep your cool when driving in hazardous conditions? Stay warm. Old Man Winter sure has a pretty but inconvenient way of getting our attention. Plan ahead to give yourself extra time and keep an emergency kit in your car while traveling any distance in this frigid weather. Wear extra layers to stay warm when you must be out. Limit your exposure time to the elements. |
