Wishing everyone a safe fun holiday weekend.
I am sitting at a standstill In traffic looking at a Emergency Scene ahead sign. This Scene is on I 75 south where there was a bad accident last night killing two. It is at an area of construction. This Is an opportunity for all of us remember to obey the speed limit and drive defensively, especially in construction zones. Today I finished my recertification/training to be a certified occupational hearing conservationist. CAOHC requires all their OHCs to be recertified every five years. I received my initial training in 1996. The course director was Timothy Swisher. He was a good instructor in 1996 and a great instructor in 2013. I enjoyed learning some new things this year. If you have a noisy habit, think about using hearing protection at home. Personal hearing protection is not just for the workplace. |
