Experience: Carolyn began working part time in the occupational health field in August of 1991 and full time in occupational health since 1996, working at Huffy Bicycle Corp. in Celina, Ohio as an Occupational Health Nurse. The OHNs at Huffy were able to save millions of dollars through implementation of on-site health initiatives. In September 1998, Carolyn joined the management team at Setex in St. Marys, Ohio as the Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator. Some of her responsibilities included Workers' Compensation, FMLA, Short Term Disability and on-site clinic management. After developing and marketing several training programs for Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio, Carolyn realized her true passion was for helping people live healthier through education, training and health & safety initiatives. Carolyn created Shinn Consulting, LLC to help companies improve their safety records through implementation of safety programs, policies, procedures and training.

Experience: Brittany began her teaching career in Cincinnati, OH. Brittany completed her 1st year of teaching at Mount Healthy School System. She pursued her passion and broadened her skills while teaching at Hughes STEM High School in Cincinnati, OH. Originally from the Mercer County area, Brittany has returned home and spent the past couple years teaching in the Wapakoneta School system and also teaching "On-Line".
Brittany will be joining Shinn Consulting, LLC during the summer of 2016 to provide training, education, and to assist with the development of "On-line" education and training courses for our clients. She is available to assist with your company training needs.
