OSHA wants our place of employment to be free of identified hazards because this promotes worker safety. So, each of us must be responsible and keep our work area clean. All loose/un-used items should be returned to the appropriate spot in the designated storage area. This can also help maintain an accurate inventory count.
I can't speak for others but I know that I have a better attitude on days when I make my bed in the morning. I can appreciate my nice room and know that I accomplished something before leaving the house. Great feeling! This good feeling can follow me to work and continue when I am able to start work without having to clean up and prepare for the day. Tidying up at the end of the shift and preparing for the next day is a great way to promote safety in your workplace. Happy Housekeeping Everyone!!
