Remember to wear extra layers if you must be outside in these freezing temperatures. Fingers and toes can freeze quickly suffering frost bite. Limit your time outside. Minus 7 degrees this morning in Celina. Brrrr
My husband and I braved the cold this afternoon to take a trip to Kroger. The main roads were snow-covered in some areas but generally in good condition. Defensive driving is always best in any type of weather. I like to allow extra time for travel. It helps me stay relaxed behind the wheel. What do you do to keep your cool when driving in hazardous conditions? Stay warm. Old Man Winter sure has a pretty but inconvenient way of getting our attention. Plan ahead to give yourself extra time and keep an emergency kit in your car while traveling any distance in this frigid weather. Wear extra layers to stay warm when you must be out. Limit your exposure time to the elements. |
